Shell for mythtv user

I have just clean installed mythtv 0.35 ( my tx and appreciation to all ) onto a ubuntu 24.04.2 base.
And the mythtv user gets setup with a /bin/sh shell,...
Are there any issues to changing this to a /bin/bash so as to get history etc. running of the cmd-line.

Shouldn't be a problem as log as you 'set -o vi' so you don't have to put up with that emacs-style editing nonsense. I've run ksh for mythtv longer than I can remember.
