MythTV v35 - Always Show Subtitles - How?

About 7(?) years ago I somehow configured MythTV to _always_ show the subtitles.

I've just nuked & re-installed and I cannot find this option. Does it still exist?

Setup>Video>Playback OSD (or something close to that, the trick is that it's hidden in Playback OSD).
