I am interested in comskip so used this sites search and came up with nothing.
Google found this post: https://forum.mythtv.org/viewtopic.php?t=5780
So I know there is at least 1 thread about it. And probably some others.
So I tried it again as Comskip since it was capitalized in that post. Again nothing. It's not a super old post. Tried the advanced search too and no luck. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

After a recent upgrade/move/whatever you can't search the forums for anything before then. But phpBB search has always sucked. I just did a Brave search on "site:mythtv.org comskip" and there's several links.jimls wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 2:44 am I am interested in comskip so used this sites search and came up with nothing.

Re: Search function not working...
Search tools often struggle with specific terms because of indexing delays or database limits. You likely found the old post through Google because external crawlers index pages more thoroughly than local search scripts. I encountered similar hurdles when I tried to manage my media library. To solve this, I focused on how I integrated accurate data to help me organize my TV listings and metadata. This step required a clean tv schedule to ensure every recording had the right labels before processing.
We just want a clean TV guide, not a mess of extra code lines. Learn how to improve your TV listings using accurate data.
