After MythTV v34 was released, the backend setup button in MCP was changed to open the default web browser and use MythTV's new web app for the backend configuration instead of the older mythtv-setup program. Thank you to the MythTV developers for the continuing fine work on the web app since it first arrived.
Now, MCP users have the option to add a browser launcher in the Ubuntu applications menu that opens the web app. Four options are included as shown below for convenient access to some of the main pages. Also, MythWeb has been removed since it is no longer being included in the PPA and the use of the web app is being encouraged.
