How can I submit a bug report to Trac?

I try to submit a new ticket to trac. It tells me to login, but I cannot find how to create an account in that system.

When logging in please click on the github login and accept the request for MythTV to have access to your github details. You are required to be logged in to raise a ticket

So it looks like you need to get a Github account which you can get from https://github.com/join?return_to=%2Flo ... urce=oauth

When I click the Github login, I get a box with 4 fields: username, email, first name, last name and a submit button. I fill in my github username (which is my email) and the other fields. Clicking submit gets me 'Invalid username or password'. I've cleared all mythtv cookies, same results. I'm still lost.

So have you actually registered? On the Github sign up page I get Username, Email, Password boxes and Sign Up for Github button, no first name last name boxes. If you're trying to register maybe it doesn't like an email as a username?

If you have registered on the GitHub sign in page I get username or email address, password boxes and sign in button.

I've submitted several bug reports previously, but can no longer log in either. None of my saved logins work now.

As you can see it's been a couple of years so I don't know what has changed, but I can log into the forum and wiki, just not trac anymore. Maybe I need to create a new account.

I do have a github account, username JeffDwork email jeffdwork47@gmail.com
Github shows that I have granted access to MythTV Project, it has read-only access to my email.
I tried logging in to trac using my github username or email and password, all rejected.

For me once I allowed MythTV to use my Github login I just click the Github icon and I'm automatically logged in don't need to enter any user name or password.

That doesn't work for me. Then ask to update my account with first and last name. Do that>submit. It says sorry, wrong username or password. Last time I used trac it was at svn.mythtv/trac. Now it goes to code.mythtv/trac.
And I don't have a problem with my github account that I know of.

I just tried from a different browser and it works for me but I am an admin on trac so maybe the login is different.

What I did was leave the user name and password blank and click the GitHub button. That takes you to a GitHub login page where you enter your GitHub user name or email address and password and say you want to allow MythTV to use the login. Once you successfully login on the GitHub page go back to the MythTV Trac login page and just click the GitHub button again and you are in.

Still doesn't work. tried from firefox, chromium, and google chrome. here's what I did.
1 login to my account on github.
https://github.com/wesnewell/Functionality
In another tab go to trac
https://code.mythtv.org/trac/
Click login which goes to mythtv login.
Leave blank and click Github which takes me to;

MythTV
Update Account Information
Username
Email
First name
Last name

with username of wesnewell and email address correct.
Enter Wes for first name, Newell for last and click submit.
And this is what I get;

We are sorry...

Invalid username or password.

And I have to enter my name to submit or it comes right back to it.

Similar problem for me. I click "Login", then "GitHub". I authorize MythTV, it briefly says "You are being redirected to the authorized application" but then the next page says "We are sorry... Invalid username or password."

Cookies enabled for *.mythtv.org, maybe github too? Mine are.

I tried clearing all the cookies for code.mythtv.org and sso.mythtv.org but it made no difference.

I should mention that I have in the past created tickets (e.g. https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/9937) and commented on them (e.g. https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/12772), but if I remember correctly I previously didn't need to create an account to do that.
