Mythgame not working on recent builds

I haven't been able to get mythgame to work in recent versions of MythTV (30 and 29) on Ubuntu 19.04, and libmythgame isn't included in the mythgame deb file.

Does anyone know if there is a reason for this I.e mythgame not working in recent versions, or will building my own versions of MythTV be the only way to get this working.

Can only answer that it works okay if building master (mythgame enabled) & running on ubuntu18.04.
Don't recall there being any issues with compiling with mythgame enabled.
It had stopped working on 14.04 with master some years back due to dependencies but all (6!) of the old games/ROMs work with mame.

Running perfecly on ubuntu 18.04 here as well, I guess it's a compatibility issue with 19.04...

I am running KDE Neon and the option for Mythgame is missing from the front end. I don't really want to compile from source. Is there a way of enabling the plugin otherwise?

I have established the option disappears when I update to version 30 from the PPA.
