Programme Guide not scrolling left/right (Functionality 29.2 theme)

Hard to describe this ...

The EPG (Programme Guide) works fine until I move the 'cursor' to the rightmost item - the 'cursor' moves to that item but the display of the program title at the top of the screen is stuck at the prior item.

If I go right again and cause a scrolling event the screen does not scroll and the 'current' item jumps leftwards 2 items.

If I keep going right, the scrolling of the display moves correctly (for one go) but the 'cursor' jumps several places to the left. The display of the program title at the top of the screen is also stuck on one of the leftward items.

Not a show-stopper as I can also use MythWeb to schedule items to record - but I really like the functionality theme.

I'm using 'functionality 29.2' theme but it seems to be OK with other themes.

Also, 'Functionality' theme seems to be OK on my x86_64 frontend - hence posting here.

I believe the RPi is stuck with using the QT painter whereas your desktop machine probably uses one of the OpenGL painters which could explain the difference there.

There was a strange bug that no one really explained what the cause was that was fixed in master and fixes/30. It's hard to say from your description but I wonder if you are seeing something similar in fixes/29?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about this, that was fixed some time back, but maybe didn't make it into the mythtv-light version.

Yes that could be it.

Doesn't look like Peter has updated the packages for mythtv-light-29 for some time. Probably only supports master and the last fixes branch, fixes-30, which makes sense.

Was just curious if this ever got resolved? If not, how did the 3 hour schedule work out for you.
