Channel Editor UI Ambiguity

Post by Tonyr63 » Wed Nov 21, 2018 11:12 pm

Hello

If I select a single channel in channel editor such as one I will never watch does "Delete All" just delete the channel instance I have selected or more as implied by the "Delete All" wording.

I would like to have just one instance of each channel assigned to each tuner. Is that the correct logic as intended by the designers? I presume if I have two tuners I should have each channel twice. I'm not 100% clear how channels become Unassigned as scan were done on each tuner.

I seem to have a lot of duplicates I would like to reduce.

Thanks

To reduce, make the callsign of each channel the same. Even more an issue
if tuners are on different sources. It's nice to see only one instance of a channel
in the guide. But it's your choice.
