MythTV And Home Automation

I've been a long time MythTV user and home automation hobbyist. Finally got around to blending the two together. Most of the home automation revolves around a custom Android app. Using MythTV API the phone displays the current TV listing and recently recorded shows. When you click on the show you want to watch, the TV is turned on, Amp settings changed, and MythTV plays the recorded show. I also have an Alexa skill where you can say "Alexa ask Myth whats on TV tonight" and it lists back the recently recorded shows. You reply with "Play Hawaii Five-O" and the same automation occurs.

After pressing remote icon, current TV listings are displayed. The progress bar show the remaining runtime of the show.

Swipe left to display current recorded shows, basic control at the button to pause, fast forward, and rewind.

That looks interesting. Where did the Alexa skill come from? Did you write or modify the code, and will you be sharing it?
