AV1 support

I think I can make a good case for myth support for av1. Leaving out the details for now, unless anyone cares, it boils down to:
1) I believe over the next few years, AV1 will become THE preferred format, and then remain so for a long time.
2) Most users (IMO) would see some benefits immediately, so there's no reason to hold off (says the guy who doesn't have to code it).
My preference would be:
1) First, playback support for recordings (which have been transcoded externally). I don't see any workarounds to this (that I like).
2) Then transcode support. I just like mythtranscode (preferably via the GUI, and not as a user job) when I can get away with it.
3) Then video playback. Using mkv as an external player is not difficult, works well, and is basically transparent to the end user, so I put this last.
Thanks
