Control shutdown from mythweb

Post by ikke »

Hi,

I find it inconvenient to ssh to backend from phone/tablet just to tell mythshutdown to lock or unlock. It would be handy if there was a web page to do just that. Like mythwelcome is showing the status, and has menu for lock/unlock.

It would be great if there was a button for it in mythweb. E.g. on status page.

This is needed for example when watching from non-mythtv frontends.

BR,

Preventing idle shutdown, e.g. when watching via UPNP, is on the list, see #12089.

For an interim solution, see: https://github.com/MythTV-Clients/MythT ... issues/266
There are shell and PHP scripts in the 7th and 8th replies from the OPs'.

Thanks, I tested the php tweak. It works, and it would be nice to have it as a button in mythweb. Unless if it's development has stopped as mentioned in the github thread.
