MythMusic non-popup volume control

MythMusic non-popup volume control

An implementation of the MythMusic volume control that didn't suck all remote control actions until cancelled or timed out would be great. A typical set of actions for me is:
  • Select playlist
  • It starts playing
  • Adjust volume to not scare the cats
  • try to skip to another track but can't because the volume control is still up
Is there perhaps a way of embedding it in the main view screen but only make it visible for a short time rather than taking focus? I've no idea what the new UI can do!!
