Android app on F-Droid

what about uploading the apk to f-droid dot org or similar? This would be very handy for automatic updates.

For legal reasons the founding developers of the MythTV project insisted we never supplied actual binary builds but just supplied the source code which others can use to make there own builds. Whether the original reasons for that decision still apply I don't know it's probably something the existing devs should discuss at some point. I believe Peter is supplying apk's you can use but does so at his own risk outside of the MythTV project.

I see that f-droid builds apps from source. This makes things complicated because our build is not easy and is not the typical android build. This is not something I would like to attempt. Is there any other similar site that accepts ready-build apk files?
