settings for Mythtv-Frontend for FireTV Stick 4K

I have not found a v31 list of recommended settings for Video on Mythtv-Frontend for Android 32 bit that runs on the FireTV Stick 4K so I thought I'd list what works for me in an effort to help others.

My usage is for OTA recordings in MPEG2 ATSC USA in 1080i or 720p formats. I also have mp4 recorded videos.

I set a profile with 2 entries. The first is as follows:

Video Formats: mpeg2video
Decoder: Standard
Max CPUs: 4
Deblocking Filter: checked
Video Renderer: OpenGL YV12
Deinterlacer quality (single rate): low quality
Prefer OpenGL deinterlacers: checked
Prefer driver deinterlacers: unchecked
Deinterlacer quality (double rate): low quality
Prefer OpenGL deinterlacers: checked
Prefer driver deinterlacers: unchecked

Second entry:
Decoder: Android MediaCodec Acceleration(decode only)
Max CPUs: 4
Deblocking Filter: checked
Video Renderer: OpenGL YV12
Deinterlacer quality (single rate): medium quality
Prefer OpenGL deinterlacers: checked
Prefer driver deinterlacers: checked
Deinterlacer quality (double rate): medium quality

Thanks for the playback settings.
In the UK hardware decode doesn't work, due to the HD stream dynamically switching between interlaced and progressive, the FireStick picture randomnly freezes with audio continuing..
Stream #0:0[0x12d]: Video: h264 (High), yuv420p(tv, bt709, top first), 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 24.83 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc
Amazon have been promising a firmware fix for 12 months now - still pending.
Meanwhile excellent results can be obtained using the software playback profile mentioned above but turning off all de-interlacing ie setting Deinterlacer quality to none.
Presumably the TV is doing the job instead.
In addition the audio buffer size in advanced video settings needs to be a large value, otherwise periodic slow downs occur (bizarly at several minute intervals). A value of 1000 worked.
PS
The above works well for Freeview but the higher bit rate used by Freesat can overload the processor. If all post processing settings are cleared including the Deblocking filter it again works very well. The picture quality is very close to VDPAU in my opinion.
