Automatic refresh rate switching when using different frontends and Android TV versions

With my older Android TV (version 9) device I could make automatic refresh rate switching work only by MythTV Leanfront with its setting. Respective setting does not seem to work in Kodi, though I only tested MythTV add-on with it. With newer device that has Android TV 11, even MythTV Leanfront fails to change refresh rate automatically (https://github.com/bennettpeter/android ... /issues/67). So I wonder, how Leanfront could do that before considering that automatic refresh rate switching is a Android TV 12 feature (https://developer.android.com/tv/release/12)? Does the feature work well with all frontends?
