That Google drive link is broken. I tried again today to build per your instructions. But my Pi4 only has 1GB. I've tried all the tricks. I've setup ccache, and I've booted from a USB connected HDD. I guess I need someone to build it for me, or I need to buy a new piece of hardware. Can you provide a new link, please?jfabernathy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 11:10 pmAt this point I only have the .deb file for what I'm running which is Bullseye 64 bits v32-pre that was built using a development version that is testing merging in ffmpeg 4.4.1. It works great and I think its the best I've seen so far. However, it would mean you need a v32 or Master backend, Or you need to just build a combo FE/BE. (Use pi-mythbackend-helper.sh from https://github.com/MikeB2013/pi-utils)
If you want to wait until tomorrow, I can build mythtv-light v31 on Bullseye 64 bit and post that. Just let me know.
Google Drive folder where I will post debs.

Re: mythtv-light on Bullseye
This is close to the most current build I have for Bullseye 64 bit. This is mythtv-light_32.0-31 and 32.0-32 is the most current, but I don't have access to it for a few days. This should work for you until you can build your own.zaphod wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 2:14 amThat Google drive link is broken. I tried again today to build per your instructions. Please note that I don't always keep the links to .deb files alive on my Google Drive. However, on the site below are a lot of images for Android, MythTV-light, etc. The latest Bullseye 64 bit mythtv-light as of today has been posted.

Re: mythtv-light on Bullseye
Thanks. That seems to be working. Mythfrontend and mythtv-setup both run, and tell me that I need to update the schema on my backend. I'm scared to let it do that, until I've upgraded the backend from v31 to v32. It's running Ubuntu 20.04. Maybe it's time to upgrade to 22.04. Thanks for the deb file - very much appreciated!!! I'm looking forward to replacing my old x86-64 front end. The hardware is starting to fail on that, and the Pi4 will be easy to hide behind the TV or the AV cabinet.jfabernathy wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 2:42 amThis is close to the most current build I have for Bullseye 64 bit. Re: mythtv-light on Bullseye
Thank you. It looks like maybe someone has fixed the dependency issue. When I started this venture, earlier this month, I downloaded 20220307-mythtv-light_32.0-6-ge78a0c0042-0_armhf_buster.deb (it has file date of 5/10 on my system), and I believe that the issue was with the libexiv2-14 dependency. But today, I downloaded 20220520-mythtv-light_32.0-32-gb6286af7d8-0_arm64_bullseye.deb, and both it, and what you gave me, have a libexiv2-27 dependency.jfabernathy wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 3:17 pmPlease note that I don't always keep the links to .deb files alive on my Google Drive. Re: mythtv-light on Bullseye
32 or 64 bits? You mentioned one of each from 2 different O/S's
Re: mythtv-light on Bullseye
I'm using Bullseye 64-bit. If it had been easier, I would have used anything that got v31 working on Pi4 as frontend. I downloaded 3 different packages from Orangedox on 5/10, and they were all months old. Using 20220307-mythtv-light_32.0-6-ge78a0c0042-0_armhf_buster.deb, which was touted to be for 64-bit bullseye, I encountered the same issue that you did, and posted about "Mon Nov 15, 2021 6:13 pm". You posted, "Dependency is not satisfiable: libexiv2-14". That happened to me too.jfabernathy wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 6:17 pm32 or 64 bits? You mentioned one of each from 2 different O/S's
At this point, I plan to just move forward. I'll upgrade the backend to Ubuntu 22.04, for which v32 packages exist. And I'll image an SD card with Bullseye 64-bit, and use the new Orangedox that now exists, 20220520-mythtv-light_32.0-32-gb6286af7d8-0_arm64_bullseye.deb (assuming it works - if not, I'll use what you shared).
Thanks for your help with this!
