Once I got my Pi4 plus 2.5 inch SSD running MythTV, the next question was mechanical packaging.
During development, it just sat on my desk. Needed something more secure for deployment.
Couldn't find any enclosures with support for the 2.5 inch SSD. Didn't want to make cooling dependent on a fan. Fans eventually fail, especially the cheap ones found in most RPi enclosures.
Ended up going with a Geeekpi case (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T3 ... UTF8&psc=1) and printed two small brackets to hold the SSD.
The idea is when the fan fails, there will be enough convection to keep the Pi cool.
See pic below. Also, the zip file contains an .stl for the two white spacers securing the SSD. You can't really them in the pic, but there are 4 rubber feet underneath the white spacers.
