Best FrontEnd for other devices

I have had to re-install due to a failed hard drive, so I'm taking this opportunity to upgrade to v30 (I think I had 0.24 before).
I used to use mythicalLibrarian on my server to give my recorded files proper names, and then use Kodi over NFS to access and watch on my Xbox, etc.
Does mythicalLibrarian still exist, and does it work with v30?
Is there an alternative to Kodi that runs on both Xbox & FireTV? I'd prefer not to run yet another backend server process (i.e. PLEX) if possible.
