[Solved] Display cropped

Post by xylogx »

Running MythTV on Linux Mint. For some reason my display is cropped. See attached photo.

HW is a Beelink SER5 Mini AMD Ryzen 7 5800H connected to my Samsung 4k TV. Display resolution is 4k

Attached a text file with output of lshw.

Unfortunately as this is your first post attachments/photos won't be allowed. You need to post more to do that, sorry.

Try starting mythfrontend with option "-platform xcb" if you are running Wayland and not X11. Even if you run X11 adding this option does not harm.

Thank you everyone for your comments and your help. The problem was due to an environment variable I had set for QT scaling to help make VLC controls larger. I had set QT_SCALE_FACTOR to 1.1

Setting it to 1.0 fixed it.

If you're happy with the fix could you possibly added [Solved] to the subject line in the first post?

Ta.
