I reconfigured my audio to use Alsa:Pulse and it's working well when I watch recordings but I can't set the Digital Audio Capabilities such as which surround sound codecs are supported.
The problem is that when I then try to play a movie that has a TrueHD audio track, it attempts to play it but comes out as horribly loud hissing/static sound. I can pause the movie and switch to a different audio track (5.1 AC3 as an example) and then it plays fine. I'm pretty sure my nVidia card actually does support TrueHD but I'm also 100% sure that my audio receiver supports it and it's worked when using just Alsa but I'd like to switch to Pulse now.
Is there a way to configure which Digital Audio Capabilities should be enabled when using Alsa:Pulse?
