[Solved] Sticky symbols

Dear Forum,

When you browse recordings, MythTV shows many flags or symbols, for example bookmark symbol, next to the recording title on the right (Terra theme). When I went from v29 to v32, they became sticky. That is, when you hit a recording where a bookmark is set, the bookmark symbol appears as expected, but it never disappears. The only way to make it disappear is to exit to the previous menu and come back. Then it doesn't show up until you hit again some bookmarked recording.

Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this?

Do you see the same behaviour with other themes like MythCenter-wide?

No, that theme works like expected. I was about to switch to it but there the 'watched' status is not shown for videos. That reduced its WAF too much (I know about the filter but...).

OK I can also reproduce this.

There hasn't been any changes to the Terra theme or anything relevant to the 'Watch Recordings' screen that I can see but there is a suspicious change make to mythuistatetype.cpp that looks like it could be the culprit.

I have made a fix in master for this (commit dbf9baa1b6). I will cherry-pick it into v31 in a few days if there are no problems reported.

I was able to test it on Ubuntu Focal.
