The behaviour is rather strange, when watching live tv and bringing up the programme guide, the multiple channels on Rowridge Channel 27 are unpopulated until I move the highlighted time one place to the left, then they populate.
When using the programme guide in the scheduler they never appear.
Does anyone have a clue as to why this behaviour is happening on .31 Mythtv?

I have only seen similar behavior when there are two different video sources and the same channel appears in both video sources. EIT guide data is per video source and one of the video sources can have EIT guide data and the other possibly not. In the program guide the channels from all video sources (that have a capture card) are combined, and it is somehow random which one you get if the same channel is present in both video sources.
Kmdewaal- Many thanks for your response. I do indeed have two sources, one a quad tuner PCI card an TBS 6205 and an HDhomerun dual network tuner.
I have 2 different video sources for them as the HDhomerun is a legacy one from my time in Australia and does not have HD-T2.
I have since deleted all tuners and video sources and repopulated and scanned the channels and this problem has gone away now!
I do have a new issue though. I have a combined fe/be and another separate front end. With the remote f/e switched of and just using the combined machine, when selecting a theme other than mythbuntu, the connection to the backend drops out randomly. If I leave the theme as mythbuntu this behaviour does not exhibit.
The homerun tuner is an HDHR3-DT about 5 years old purchased in Western Australia.
Glad that this does solve your problem. Your new issue is not something that I can help you with. I suggest that you create a new topic on the Forum as this will get you more attention and it will make it easier to find later for people with similar issues.
