MariaDB 10.4 and 10.5 has a bug that causes it to segfault and then restart which causes problems for mythbackend.
Users are advised to use MariaDB 10.3 or MySQL that doesn't seem to be affected until this bug is fixed upstream in MariaDB.
https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-20261
The bug is know to affect all Fedora 32 users. Ubuntu 20.04 or earlier are OK since it still uses MariaDB 10.3 that is not affected.
