mythutil --scanvideos, wrong name and metainfo afterward

After I run mythutil --scanvideos to detect an iso of a disc I own, then go to "Watch Videos" in the front end, the name of the video does not match the filename. I can rename it by pressing 'E'.

However, it's also picking up some bad metadata from somewhere. The title and description at the bottom, and other fields on the edit screen, are in French, and are not correct for the video.

I don't recall configuring it to look for metadata. I especially never configured anything in non-English unless it was a mistake. My Xubuntu is configured for English. I'd be happy with either fixing the language or turning off the metadata lookup wherever the setting is.
