Backend won't start

When I try to start my server It starts booting up and then starts repeating, starting osd message daemon over and over with a
192.168.1.12:3333-couldn't open socket: connection refused inserted after each large group of the starting osd message daemon
As this starts it prints time out myth backend disabled due to many starts, run "sv start myth backend"
cleaning up /etc/sv/myhbackend/.runtime and then it starts repeating starting osd message message again.

How do I get the scrolling to stop so I can try typing these things in?

There are lots of similar threads here already, suggest checking. For example:
viewtopic.php?t=2757

The details above don't click for me. I've never seen a command "sv". Port 3333 isn't used
by MythTV or MySQL/MariaDB (by default.) If you've made local changes, please detail
them. /etc/sv/myhbackend/.runtime isn't a typical file used here. "sv start myth backend"
with myth and backend isn't a MythTV program (some local startup script?)

If the backend is being disabled, then leave it that way and reboot. If the failure still
shows up, then it isn't a MythTV issue (based on what you've said.)

Maybe the best thing is for you to mention your distribution and its version.

To answer your scrolling question, try pressing Control-Alt-F3 to get a console screen.
