Does anyone know where to fix this under Xfce setup based on Mythbuntu? Everything else seems to show correctly. This happens regardless of the Theme used.
Thanks

Not sure what you mean, but look at Settings>Keyboard>Layout setting.

Re: Apostrophes showing as symbol unknown squares [Solved]
Thanks, wesnewell, although the keyboard layout was displayed correctly as English (UK), it was greyed out until I unticked Use system defaults. Now apostrophes in episode descriptions, etc. show correctly. Glad it was something easy
Edit: Looks like it is not quite solved. It seems that BBC channel recordings are the only ones showing these odd symbol unknown squares instead of apostrophes. Is it possible that this has to do with the font they use being different somehow? Any other ideas?
