mythfilldatabase grabber failure

Post by keepitsimpleengineer » Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:30 pm

This message on mythweb's Mythtv Status page:
"Last mythfilldatabase run started on Fri Dec 28, AM 11:14 and ended on Fri Dec 28, AM 11:17. mythfilldatabase ran, but did not insert any new data into the Guide for 1 of 1 sources. This can indicate a potential grabber failure.
"Suggested next mythfilldatabase run: Sat Dec 29, AM 7:50.
"There's guide data until 2019-01-09 01:30:00 (12 days)."

I manually ran it, but still no data. Nothing in mythbackend.log about mythfilldatabase

Not sure why, it been running for years. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, DataDirect subscription expires next October.

A little help would be much appreciated. :)

Use mythweb to repair/check database. run mythfilldatabase --refresh all.

That message doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem, you will get it if you run mythfilldatabase twice in quick succession because the second time it is run there is no new data to insert into the database.
