Can't watch on two different devices simultaneously

Post by Proton23 »

Hi!

I'm using mythtv through Kodi and I don't know for sure if it's a mythtv problem, but I think so.
I have a HTPC with the tuner-card and a Raspberry Pi. I can watch TV on both devices
but not simultaneously. My card is a Digital Devices Cine S2 v6.5 which should be able to do so.
Did I miss some properties in the settings or what did I do wrong?

Best regards

How many tuners have you defined in MythTV? If you only have 1 tuner you can only watch Live TV from 1 device at a time. If you have 2 tuners you can watch from 2 devices at a time and so on.

If you only have 1 tuner and are trying to watch the same channel from both at the same time there are some ways you can do it.

Thanks for the reply.
It's a twin tuner card, but the second one is not in use yet.
So it was just my misunderstanding of how things work.
I was thinking that I is possible to watch two channels at the same time, but it isn't.

Sorry for that.

Best regards
