Has anyone gotten a dual or quad HDHomerun to work?
I'm doing a fresh install of .30 and I have a HD quad. I configured four inputs as suggested, but MythTV still only sees a single tuner.
The "57a0ad8" note explains why you don't pick a specific tuner anymore, but doesn't explain clearly what should be done.
Should the inputs have network ids 1 through 4? Should they all be -1?

Re: HDHomerun second tuner 0.29 problem
I have an HDHomerun Quatro, on v30. I did my configuration a long time ago, so I find it difficult to answer your questions on the exact method of doing the config.
The result, however, is that I have 2x4 = 8 encoders and can record several shows simultaneously.
Hope this helps.

Re: HDHomerun second tuner 0.29 problem
I'm just trying everything now. I'm having some success with creating four inputs, network id -1, setting up sources to match, making sure each name contains "homerun" (I noticed that in the source code on 57a0ad8).
While watching tv I can use M/enu and do change input mostly, but sometimes I get a wierd error and the inputs are called 1, 5,7,8..
I think I need to add the XMLID's for every channel to every source - I couldn't get any channels until I did that, so maybe Mythtv won't let me tune to it because the channel is unidentified.

I do. And I setup a source attached to each one.
Re: HDHomerun second tuner 0.29 problem
Three posts above, "every source" may be interpreted as having 4 sources. There are uses for that,
but from the other discussion in this sub-thread, there should be 1.
E.g. I have a 3 tuner HDHR. There are 3 HDHOMERUN: 1234ABCD entries in Capture cards,
1 entry in Video sources (I named it: HDHR) and 3 entries in Inputs all like:
HDHOMERUN: 1234ABCD -> HDHR.
I don't have any other users of my HDHR, so all three tuners are available to MythTV. As Commit
[57a0ad8] explains, if I/you had other hosts or software that used the HDHR, a
smaller number of tuners could be configured in MythTV so that the other box had exclusive access to
one tuner (or more, if desired.)
