Screen Setup Wizard Hangs after upgrade to 27.1

I've been successfully running MythTV on 3 computers for about 10 years now. On the upgrade to 27.1, 2 of my 3 computers will hang at a black screen as soon as I select "Screen Setup Wizards" from the Appearance menu. Nothing really interesting in the terminal. Anyone else having this issue?
