Cloned master backend does not recognise slave backend

Post by epagle243 »

I have 3 separate MythTV computers, 1 FE, master BE & 1 slave BE, all recently(January 2017) upgraded to Mythbuntu 16.04 (having re-installed 14.04 after losing the database when trying to upgrade to 16.04 last July). This time, I backed-up my 14.04 master from an SSD to an 80GB HDD.

After the upgrade, I had problems with the master (60GB SSD), so I upgraded the 80GB HDD 14.04 back-up copy to 16.04. That has been working fine.

On 19/02/17, using Clonezilla, I cloned from the HDD to a 120GB SSD. Although the SSD seems to work (I ran out of time to do detailed testing) on its own tuners & recordings, it cannot "find" the tuners or recordings on the slave BE. This is similar to what happened when I upgraded directly to the 60GB SSD in January.

So, to be able to watch & record yesterday evening, I re-installed to 80GB HDD.

I have not been able to find any references to this problem, so I am hoping that someone on the forum can help me.
