Live TV obscures EPG description

When I bring up the EPG on mythfrontend, I find that the live tv picture that appears in the top-right of the screen is shown over the top of the rest of the EPG screen, with the result that some of the description text is not readable.
Is there a setting to (ideally) make the description text float around the tv picture, or else (reluctantly) to disable the live tv insert from this page?
I'm using the Mythbuntu 28.20 theme and using myth 0.27
