[Fixed] Program guide empty

Hi,

I'm running mythtv 0.27-4.fc20 from rpmfusion and can't for the life of me get the program guide to do anything useful.

I've got the hdhomerun plus with the h.264 encoding and can scan it either through the web interface or through the gui/cli hdhomerun tool and get channels (OTA).
I'm running both backend and frontend on the same box and have gone through the mythtv-setup, added tuner, scanned channels, assigned SD information and finally run mythfilldatabase which after some trial and error (had to edit each channel and put the xmltv ID in manually) returns what looks to be no errors.

All that being said I'm stumped as to why the information doesn't populate in the guide. I'm new to mythtv and would greatly appreciate any help.

As in the link above a reboot of all things allowed it to populate the schedule.
