HDPVR and USB3

Hello,

Does HDPVR play nice with USB3?

I have one of these which freezes while recording (light continues to stay on). It is connected to a USB 3 port. Was wondering whether HDPVR is faulty or is it the USB3.
The only to get it to work is to manually powercycle. it.
