I upgraded my Ubuntu mythtv backend from 20.04.4 to 22.04.1 this morning using "do-release-upgrade." After the upgrade I found mythweb wasn't working.
I followed the procedure on this page:

and mythweb was then OK. Everything else on the backend seems OK also.
Posting for information of others also doing an upgrade.

I recklessly used the same "do-release-upgrade" technique to upgrade my frontend. But then I encountered the same problems with using ir-keytable to configure my remote I have always encountered. After struggling awhile I tried the trick of using an old version of lirc outlined at:

and it worked (!), even tho I haven't been able to get it to work on other 22.04 systems in the past.
