Max Resolution for recordings on my hardware?

Post by AndyInNYC »

I have several FusionHDTV5 lite boards in my mythtv server. Recordings show as 480 x 720 in the windows properties when i have a .ts file highlighted.
However, if I hover the mouse over the filename, MediaInfo reports 1280 x 720.

So, my question is: "which is correct?"

I'm assuming, since the video looks great, that this is a 1280x720 picture, but I'm wrong a lot.

Thanks for the input.

If you play a recording in mythfrontend and press M for MENU then select Playback -> Playback Data the values next to Video: will tell you exactly what the resolution is.
