Mythweb and Kodi/Myth front end issues

I have an issue with my brand new setup.

I have Ubuntu 16.04 server running MythTV .28. After lots of tribulations, it seems to be running correction.

On the front end, I have intalled the MythTV add-on in LibreElec (Kodi) running on an S095 box. When I run the add-on and watch something, it seems to start recording and not stop. So even though I've gone from Channels in the front-end to Videos off my server, the MythTV box continues to record. Conceivably it would fill up my drive before it stopped.

So, is this normal behaviour? How do I stop it?

It might be worth checking on the Kodi forums for assistance as I believe LiveTV has a history of being problematic when used via Kodi (I don't use Kodi so don't know for sure).

Try viewing LiveTV via mythfrontend to confirm that it is not something to do with your mythtv config.
