Mythweb just lists directory

Post by tvdave »

Hi,

I have attempted to enable Mythweb following the directions for the Macport build and it just lists the directory. I have checked to make sure that the version of Apache bundled with Mavericks is not running.

There were no errors noted.

Going to http://localhost comes up with It works!

http://localhost/mythweb just lists the directory

What would be the next steps in troubleshooting. The instructions for the general version of MythTV are a bit different.

I'm away from my Myth system but I seem to recall that the address is case sensitive. Try:

http://localhost/MythWeb/

I did this, had a funny little question symbol, clicked through that and everything is hunky dory. A few more stability issues, some acceptance testing and then it is ready for NTOU testing (non-technical other user).

Hello:

Thanks for the great work on this Craig - really appreciated by someone who knows a little but not enough to delve deeply myself!

I just thought I'd flag this thread as answering the exact same issue for me too - I hadn't realised it was case sensitive.

Happy days...

Pants.
