Following these directions (https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/MythTV_on_Mac_OS_X) to get this on my Mac. I got through the MySQL setup, loaded time zone tables into MySQL, and opened Mythtv-Setup. I selected my language but then the GUI got all messed up and about 75% seemed cut off. I then tried to open MythTV backend but it opens and then immediately closes, without ever even registering in the Activity Monitor. The log file reads:
CoreServicesUIAgent[18064]: error -1 while removing quarantine data on path /Applications/MythTv-Setup.app/Contents/Frameworks/AVCVideoServices.framework/AVCVideoServices
Please help.
