MythBackend is not running.

I have used the a pre-built version to get mythtv working but for some reason i cannot get backend running. I hae followed the wiki but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

For a number of us, mythbackend fails to launch when you first reboot your machine. However, the launchd plist is set up to try again in a few minutes. Have you tried waiting 5 minutes to see if it starts up successfully?

If that doesn't work, post the most recent backend log in '/opt/dvr/var/log/mythtv.28'.
