android 10 not liking favicon.ico

So I was book marking my mythweb to my home screen on my phone and it kept showing a generic 1 and not the TV icon you have for mythweb. All web browser it shows fine on the tab like we expect. I finally saved the original icon to favicon.ico.org and downloaded a generic TV icon from the web and used gimp to make it an ico then I was able to see the icon on my desktop not the mythweb one but at least it looks like a TV. Anyone have a clue why it doesn't like the favicon.ico? I opened it with gimp and see that it has a small layer and a large layer could that have something to do with it? I tried removing the small layer and re-saved but android still did not like that version either. I tried saving it as a jpg to get rid of the mask thinking maybe it doesn't like the clear area. Then re-saved it as the ico but it did not like that either.

The generic 1 comes from the first character of the url. I was using the ip to access it, When I try to bookmark mythtv.org it shows a generic M.
