WebFrontend and canned searches

I find the canned searches feature of Mythweb one of the most useful features of MythTV. Will WebFrontend be getting the same functionality? I'm currently on MythTV 0.29 and Mythweb fortunately still works with it. Which version of MythTV will (or does) 'break' Mythweb's functionality?

While MythWeb is EOL and is only getting critical fixes I believe it does still work even in the latest development version of MythTV.

WebFrontend was supposed to be it's replacement but development has stalled so MythWeb is likely to stick around for a while longer.

We would really like any interested user to help to improve WebFrontend so any help continuing it's development would be greatly received even if it's just ideas or suggestions for missing feature you would like to see.

Thanks for the reply. While I've been MythTV user since 2008 I unfortunately don't have developer skills but I would like to suggest that WebFrontend have the same canned searches functionality as MythWeb.
