Recording Pending System Event

There is very little said about the REC_PENDING system event (or any of them for that matter) in the Wiki, and a google search revealed only a couple of old mailing list posts containing just a clue and some out of date (or misinformation) about it. Anyhow, at least in v30.0, I can confirm the event fires 2 minutes before the recording starts and is repeated at 30 second intervals for a total of 3 times. I hope this information saves somebody a bit of time writing a script to run based on the event
