I want to contribute some minor updates to the Mac OS Wiki pages - for which I presume I need an account. Do I ask here for an admin to get me started with this?

If you request Wiki access on irc://irc.freenode.net/mythtv , you'll likely
get quicker access, as the dev that controls it is frequently there.
