Time to record past the end of the show.

I set mythtv to record 300 seconds before the show and 300 seconds after the show but when i record the show only the 300 seconds before the show is working. I am not getting the 300 seconds after the show to work. I am running mythtv 0.29. When i was running 0.28.1 this worked but not it is not. Any ideas?

Well i think it is fixed. I rebooted the computer and it seemed to record both before and after the extra 300 seconds

I suspect the boot didn't fix anything (always possible though.)

In the 1st test, was there a program scheduled right after the one
that didn't record the extra 300 seconds? And in the 2nd case,
no following program.

If so, note the help text for pre and post roll in the frontend setup
where your 300 seconds are defined.

If you want to record a hard -/+ five minutes, then change it in the
recording rule. And if you'd like to do it every time, then update
the template (e.g. Default if you haven't added other templates.)
Note that updating templates doesn't change the recording rules
that used them when they were created.
