Re: Delete watched videos from frontend?

I guess I don't know what type file you're talking about. It works on everything I have. Videos, Images, recordings, etc. Also works in mythtv-setup to delete cards, profiles, whatever. I don't stream stuff off the Inet in mythtv, but if it's streaming there's obviously nothing to delete.

Re: Screen started freezing in liveTV and recordings

I was thinking of the sysytem refresh rates. The TV being 5 years old may not be able to do it max rate any longer, and the system probably set it to max. Should be something with xconfig that will allow you to change it. It's been a long time since I messed with this, so I don't recall exactly how ...

Re: Screen started freezing in liveTV and recordings

I may be way out in left field, but this sounds like a monitor refresh rate problem. Can you lower it?

Re: Delete watched videos from frontend?

As long as the remote button is defined in lircd.conf and in your lircrc file, then just go to Edit keys and put the button on the function you want. My remote has lots of buttons. I picked it for that reason. I think the D key is the default to delete any file that you have highlighted anywhere.

Re: All Tuners are busy

What's your video source. an antenna or cable tv? Sounds like you added the wrong tuner. For ota atsc, you need to add the DVB tuner, not the analog tuner. These are atsc tuners. wes@mythfe0:~$ ls /dev/dvb adapter0 adapter1 adapter2 adapter3 adapter4 adapter5 you should have adapter0 if you added th...

Re: HELP Please

I recently installed mythbuntu 14.04 on 3 machines. IIRC mine hung if I tried to install the Nvidia driver during install and it really screwed up if I later tried to use the newest driver, but seems to work fine with the 304.117 driver. Try installing with just the defaults, and add remote and nvid...
