Re: hdhrepg2myth - HDHomeRun Live TV Guide to MythTV

Lines 177 through 182 in hdhrepg2myth.py erases the guide data for all channels, and no images are stored.

Re: hdhrepg2myth - HDHomeRun Live TV Guide to MythTV

Some communication details are shown below. Others can decide if the due diligence actions that I have taken are adequate. In addition to posting in the Silicondust forum, I sent an email to Silicondust regarding this subject prior to posting the program on GitHub. After posting the program on GitHu...

hdhrepg2myth - HDHomeRun Live TV Guide to MythTV

Schedules Direct is a great option for guide data, but if you own an HDHomeRun Prime you may be interested in the program described below. hdhrepg2myth https://github.com/heyted/hdhrepg2myth The purpose of this software is to provide an approximately four-hour guide when watching live TV using MythT...

Re: Live TV Guide Data From Silicondust Used in Mythtv

bonelifer- Thanks for your response. I agree that Schedules Direct is a great option. I sent an email to Silicondust and posted on the Silicondust forum as shown in the attached screenshot, but I did not receive a reply. I posted the modified program on GitHub, and I will remove it if told to do so ...

Mythrecmaze: Automatically record the TV shows you follow on TVmaze.com https://github.com/heyted/mythrecmaze The version on GitHub requires not using the guide service you currently use, which is too drastic for most people. I have a version of the program that I have not put on GitHub yet that doe...

This sounds like a deinterlacing issue. It also sounds like the issue this guy describes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cff77kjT-jY

Re: Channel Lineup, HDHomeRun, Schedules Direct, Comcast

Open VLC
Media > Open Network Stream > http://PrimeIp:port/auto/v3 (something like http://192.168.1.19:5004/auto/v3) > Play
Close VLC

Open MythTV Frontend
Live TV > Channel 3

Do they both show the same channel?

Re: Channel Lineup, HDHomeRun, Schedules Direct, Comcast

When I log into the HDHomeRun Prime (with Comcast's Cable Card), it tells me channel 3 is NBC and channel 4 is the CW. When you used a web browser to view the Prime's web page interface showing your channel lineup, did you rescan all channels? If not, check that you have the latest firmware, and cl...

Live TV Guide Data From Silicondust Used in Mythtv

Owners of some Silicondust products can receive approximately four hours of guide data every couple hours while watching live TV at no additional cost. There are multiple Kodi add-ons that use this data in addition to the HDHomeRun Kodi add-on. The HDHomeRun Kodi add-on is licensed using GNU GPL 2. ...

Re: Does Myth-0.28 really work?

I see from your earlier post that you are using a Hauppauge WinTV-DCR-2650 tuner. I had a 2650 until I recently sold it to someone named Steve. Did you buy it on Oct 23? Installed and started configuring it. The tools seems to freeze a lot (Myth Setup, MythBuntu Control Centre, Frontend). I installe...

Re: It Looks Like Mythbuntu is Going Away

Canonical started Ubuntu TV over five years ago, but the development moved like a dead fish. If Mythbuntu goes away, do you think Ubuntu TV will be revived? Quote from Canonical: MythTV and XBMC [Kodi] are popular open-source TV projects, particularly in the Ubuntu community. We’re very pleased to c...

Thank you to the Mythbuntu team for the nine years it has been available. Maybe someone else can take over? Will Mythbuntu 16.04 be supported until 2018 as originally planned?

Re: Anyone know why the hdhomerun connect is unavailable?

Nick with Silicondust posted today: "We shipped stock of all products to the major retailers earlier in the week. Looks like Amazon hasn't processed it yet. Stock levels at the retailers are dictated by the retailers - we can't tell Amazon to order more in advance of an announcement like Plex unfort...

Re: Graphics choice

I just purchased a NUC with a 6th gen i5-6260U. I have hardware accel working with vaapi. I was expecting to see deinterlacing issues, but I am not seeing any. I am seeing occasional discolored blocky lines (for lack of a better term). Intel released a graphics update tool for Ubuntu 16.04 a few day...
