Re: Streaming .asx files to VLC

So I tried going to JW Player route without any success. Seems to be a pathing issue. Would I be better off creating a flash transoder or even upgrading to .28 with webfrontend. The only clips that I really ever stream while at work are baseball games so it's not like I need every clip to be transco...

Streaming .asx files to VLC

When at work I like to stream shows from my mythbackend (0.27) on Ubuntu 14.04 and I use VLC 2.16. It works great except on growing files. I've searched the net and couldn't find anything solution wise. The problem is is when VLC opens the stream it get's the EOF info and doesn't refresh that until ...

Re: Lost Media SOLVED

Ok ... I took care of the orphans. When I saw that mythweb showed 700 deleted, that told me that the find_mythtv_orphans.py script had indeed marked those files as "deletepending" 1 in the recorded table. Re: Lost Media

Thanks for the reply. I am running 2:0.27.6+fix and I do keep up with updates. This is on Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS. I had been running the find_mythtv_orphans.py script occasionally and the database was in pretty good shape until Monday night when I was doing an install on an SSD (the OS is on an old spin...

Lost Media

I am looking to delete over 1400 recordings that are orphaned. The recordings don't exist anymore but the meta-data is still there. I've tried the perl script to no avail. "File doesn't exist. Database metadata will not be removed" is the message that I get in the backend log. At this point, I just ...
