Re: Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD model 1595 does not find channels (missing firmware?)
Using a Hauppagge quadHD
Adding this line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="cx23885.debug=8"
to
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
results in tuner cards working, however, it also results in extremely large log files at:
/var/log

Re: Changing delivery system from DVB-T to DVB-T2
2 days ago - as a result of having cards working - the: var/log files: syslog and kernlog became extreemly large - e.g. 80Gb and they used all disk space. There were a lot of cx28 logs I turned off logging on grub boot options and is now ok FYI An attempted fix was to tun off the option "open on dem...

Re: Changing delivery system from DVB-T to DVB-T2
It did work out of the box - using Kaffeine
The cards do not even need to be set to DVB-T1 - even though I think there is no DVB-T2 in Sydney - it still works now - evern if cards are left to default DVB-T2 setting.
Have to cross fingers doing a reboot or upgrade though.

Confirming that all of those firmware are present. Thanks for confirming that the card will work, however, where are you located? Also in relation to your info: Re: Works fine with mythtv master now & setting all tuners to T2. Full mythtv scan finds all DVB-T & T2 broadcasts. Do you get all four tun...

Re: Changing delivery system from DVB-T to DVB-T2
Failed to prevent change to DVB-T2 when accessing tuner card menu option after switching and saving the setting for DVB-T1.
Still fails after deleting all tuner cards and files in /dev/adapters * and hard reboot.
Can watch TV in Kaffeine - no worries
