QAM Channels

Just switched to Fios, one of the reasons was there still having QAM channels available. Have the 1255 Hauppauge card, When I try to scan for the channels, it is only scanning for ATSC, no QAM.

Plugged the cable into a TV and can get the QAM channels there.

Using Peppermint OS, also tried Ubuntu.

Got the bitrate working correctly. Another issue as come up though, when I load the video in Avidemux it will not seek to the correct frame. Posted on Videohelp and someone there looked at a sample recording. Was told the key frames were too high.

Used the guide on Github to connect the HD PVR 2 to Linux, with trial and error have it working, can record through the terminal. Not gotten MythTV working with it yet. Terminal is fine for now. The issue I keep having is the bitrate will not change from the default. When I used it with Windows, the...
